Green Tea for Fall

Hojicha, Jou Yanagi

Hojicha is a roasted green tea from Japan, and it hits all the fall and cozy season highlights: nutty, roasty, and a little bit smoky. Lower in caffeine than other green teas due to its composition (hojicha is typically a twig and leaf tea) and the roasting process, Hojicha makes an excellent afternoon pick-me-up.

Oolong for Fall

Da Hong Pao

One of our yan cha, or rock teas, Da Hong Pao tastes and smells like walking through the woods after an autumn rain. Fresh and crisp with mineral notes reminiscent of a slate riverbed, Da Hong Pao is our favorite tea to take on fall hikes.

Black Tea for Fall

Mi Xiang Hong Cha

Produced in one of our favorite areas for oolong (Ali Shan, Taiwan), this black tea exhibits all of the best of what we love about black teas (distinct tannic structure and robust flavor) while remaining true to its oolong cultivar (aroma, sweet and almost butternut squashy flavor).

Aged Tea for Fall

2012 Menghai

Pu Erh is always one of our favorite go-tos for cozy weather thanks to its deep, robust flavor profile. The 2012 Menghai is an excellent starter pu erh with its approachable but characteristically earthy flavor profile. Plus, it's super easy to steep thanks to being pressed into convenient single-serving tuo chas.

Scented Tea for Fall

Istanbul Apple

You may be asking yourself, but where's the Pumpkin Pie Spice Chai? Well, while we do love our pumpkin chai nothing says fall to us in Upstate NY quite like apples and cinnamon. That's why Istanbul Apple gets our vote as the best scented tea for fall!

Best Herbal for Fall

Flu Shot ®

Our house blend of citrus and spice and everything nice, almost all of us drink Flu Shot several times a week in the fall, especially if someone is feeling a little under the weather! Completely caffeine-free, this herbal's familiar and warmly spiced flavor is comforting and just what flu and cold season ordered!
