Retail Floor Associate
30-40 hours per week
We are looking to add an outgoing, detail oriented individual to our TEAm of full-time shop worker bees with year-round availability. The ideal candidate wants to share their passion for teas and bees with our guests through thoughtful service, open curiosity, and continued learning. Must be available to work weekends. No prior experience is necessary for this role.
The ideal candidate will:
- Welcome Saratoga Tea & Honey guests with knowledgeable and friendly service
- Delight in assisting guests on the sales floor and at the register
- Exhibit attention to detail through thoughtful upkeep of guest and staff areas; including, restocking, bar-backing, cleaning, and suggesting new merchandising displays as stock rotates throughout the year
- Have a passion for continued knowledge about teas and bees
Warehouse Production Associate: Honey Filler
20 hours/week
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented individual to help with the sweet task of pouring and infusing our raw honeys! No prior experience is necessary for this role.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented individual to help with the sweet task of pouring and infusing our raw honeys! No prior experience is necessary for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Fill 12 oz, 3 oz, and 19 oz honey jars
- Continuously manage current honey infusions, including stirring, tasting, and evaluating
- Experiment with new infusions and record findings in spreadsheets
- Maintain inventory control for honey and other supplies as needed
- Report to warehouse supervisor for ordering honey
- Maintain clean and sanitary workspace
- Other duties as assigned
Heavy lifting required (50+ lbs). Must be agreeable to light cleaning and washing equipment daily. This position primarily involves working independently, but will also require periods of working in a team environment as deemed necessary. Must be able to re-prioritize tasks based upon the needs of the shop.
