Black Tea from Africa or South America
Kenya Kangaita
Arriving to us from Kenya's Rift Valley and grown from the same varietal as India's famous Black Teas of Nilgiri, Kenya Kangaita is a gorgeous full-leaf Black Tea.
The temperate climate of the Rift Valley is ideal for growing tea, and many of the world's famous brands like Lipton, Tetley, and Twinings - to name a few - blend Kenyan teas with product from other tea growing areas like China, India, and Sri Lanka when creating their branded blends.
For this reason, it is rare to see a whole-leaf, loose leaf tea coming out of Africa, and we feel especially grateful to include the bold yet balanced Kenya Kangaita in our Black Tea collection. When we're feeling particularly fanciful, we taste the heat of the sun and the depth of the volcanic soil in this smooth, Black Tea. Perhaps this terroir is why Kenya Kangaita makes such a stunning iced tea.
Spicy, and fruity with a sweetness something like toast, Kenya Kangaita is tannic but balanced. This full leaf African Black Tea is sure to be a favorite with lovers of strong, smooth tea.
La Cumbre Bitaco
We think of Colombia for lush rainforests and gorgeous coffee exports, but high in the La Cumbre region of the Andes mountains, tea is flourishing.
Harvested from the mélange cultivar at 1850m, this bold black tea's tannin is edged with the sweetness of sugar cane, cocoa, and honey.
Highly caffeinated, this beautiful and bold black tea is the perfect morning tea for those who love a bracing cup of English Breakfast or Russian Caravan to start their day.

High mountain oolongs from Taiwan like our Shan Lin Xi or Ali Shan are highly aromatic with notes of white florals. If you like Jasmine tea, these elegant and sophisticated teas from high elevation tea gardens are the perfect next level for days when you're feeling just a little fancy.
Shan Lin Xi
Our tea aficionados love this profusely aromatic oolong from high in the Taiwanese mountains. Produced by Mr. Chen and his team, this harvest of our favorite high mountain oolong is composed of mature leaves that have been tightly rolled in the characteristic style of Taiwan.
Over multiple infusions this tea produces an intensely aromatic cup with aromas of heady white flowers, ground cherry, wheat-grass and vanilla. Absolutely intoxicating.
Ali Shan
This high mountain oolong (1200m) comes from one of Taiwan's most famous tea mountains: Ali Shan, and this particular year is a stand out! Ali Shan is hand picked and produced in a small batch in Ruili, Taiwan - one of the most popular terroirs for this type of tea.
The tightly rolled mature leaves of our Ali Shan unfurl over multiple infusions yielding a profoundly aromatic cup with the delicate complexity of green vegetation, white flowers, and spice.

Pine & Holy Basil
We shy away from saying definitively that any one tea or tisane is the healthiest. But if we're forced to, we will probably point to our Tulsi Supreme (holy basil and stinging nettles make this one a powerhouse for your central nervous system) or our Wild Taiga (pine, fir, chaga and wild blueberries supercharge this tisane's immune-boosting potential).
Tulsi Supreme
This highly potent blend of organic herbs from Québec was created especially for seasonal changes that might bring us colds and allergies. A little bit spicy and a little bit fruity, this infusion has a beautiful character. We think you'll love the ethereal softness and floral bouquet of oregano.
Tulsi Supreme is an herbal adaptogen which may help the body and the immune system to adjust to seasonal change and the effects of stress, with the added benefit of acting as a restorative to the digestive tract. Anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-cold, this herbal tisane may help relieve headaches and stomach disorders, and it supports digestion while restoring strength, fortitude and vitality.
For lovers of Seasons Tulsi, this herbal blend is a recipe variation, omitting the calendula and adding in a the beneficial herb, fireweed. The flavor is nearly indistinguishable.

Wild Taiga
Harvested in the Canadian north, this blend of wild leaves, shoots, berries, and mushrooms create a forest symphony of flavors. Cozy, pine, cabin, winter, and hearth are all words that come to mind as we sip this special tisane.
This beneficial blend may act as a flu breaker, an anti-inflammatory medicine, and a powerful release for the respiratory tract. You will also find this blend naturally energizing, bittersweet, peppery and earthy. Infuse and re-infuse with pleasure to fully enjoy its generosity!
